These charts are designed for ear reflexology students and practitioners to stimulate ear points using fingers or acupressure beads. Basic ear reflexology training is required to work with these protocols.
The ear protocols are based on a selection of auriculotherapy treatment plans originally developed in China and modified in Europe.
Often times there is no need to stimulate all of the listed ear points. Only stimulate the points that are active, indicated by tenderness, and correlate with your client's symptoms and conditions. There may be times when a client needs other points that are not listed in these charts. Some protocols have many points listed and you might not need all of them. Less can be more. These ear protocols are meant as guidelines. Keep an open mind and remember that each person is different.
